Watch Despite a Justice Department (DOJ) memo earlier this year calling for the Federal Bureau of Prisons to stop using private prisons, the bureau has renewed a contract with a private prison contractor for a facility in Georgia. RT America’s Anya Parampil reports that by reducing the beds at the facility by 147, the bureau is still compliant with the DOJ directive.
